Iran claimed that its recent missile tests were launched “For the purpose of defending the country against Israel and the US,” ad that the tests do not violate the nuclear deal.
Israel Hayom reports that Iran’s statements were made in response to a complaint filed by Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon to the UN Security Council against Iran’s missile tests. The Iranian Ambassador’s response ignored reports that “The ballistic missiles were emblazoned with the phrase, ‘Israel must be erased from the face of the earth.’”
