Yehoshua Resnick, the lawyer representing former President Moshe Katzav, said prior to Sunday’s Parole Board hearing on Katzav’s early release that his client meets every possible legal demand, criteria and parameter necessary for early release.
“We hope to convince the court to instruct that Mr. Katzav be granted early release, because, according to all legal stipulations, he deserves to be released.
