Brig.-Gen. Itay Virov will be head of Ground Forces Command

Brigadier-General Itay Virov will be appointed the head of the Ground Forces Command. Virov’s appointment will only be finalized once it is approved by Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon.

Virov currently serves as Gaza Division Commander.
