Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders raised $43.5 million in February and ended the month with $17.2 million cash on hand, according to a Federal Election Commission report filed on Sunday night and cited by Politico.
That haul overshadows his rival, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who raised $30 million in contributions in February.
