MK Benny Begin (Likud) gave a speech this evening (Sunday), during which he attack members of the Labor Party for supporting the transfer of Jerusalem neighborhoods to the Palestinian Authority.
"Members of the Labor Party who plan to transfer Arab neighborhoods to PA control are splitting and dividing Jerusalem. Whoever looks at the map sees that they lead a narrow corridor of a few hundred meters for the residents of Pisgat Ze'ev and Neve Ya'akov who needs to get to the center of the city," he said.
In addition to Begin, Jerusalem Minister Ze'ev Elkin (Likud) said, "The division of Jerusalem won't guarantee a Jewish majority in the city. Only accelerated Jewish construction across the city will."
