MK Rachel Azaria (Kulanu) has responded to the Attorney General's review of the mikveh law, in which he declared the bill unconstitutional.
"As we have said from the first moment, the mikveh law would seriously harm the members of the public who use mikvehs," she said. "So we, in Kulanu, have pledged that the law will not pass in its current form and that we will prevent any possible attack on the religious and traditional public that uses the mikvehs."
MK Azaria added, "I welcome the Attorney General's review, which strengthens our position. For many years, the voices of religious and traditional woman have not been heard on these issues. Now we will all be heard loud and clear."
