The Environment Ministry called a hearing for Sunday involving the CEO of Israel Railways, Boaz Tzafrir, in light of the train collision near Dimona, which led to a dangerous substance spill.
In addition to the hearing, the Environment Ministry is considering banning further transportation of dangerous substances on Israeli trains.
