Following the Prime Minister’s instructions, a military plane departed for Turkey on Sunday morning, in order to return to Israel the Israeli victims of the Istanbul attack. The plane will transport the wounded victims, as well as the bodies of those who were killed in the attack.
The plane is outfitted with an in-flight trauma unit and is staffed with medical personnel from the Home Front Command. A representative of the Foreign Ministry is also on board.
