Histadrut labor federation Chairman Avi Nissenkorn and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon signed a collective agreement on Wednesday that compares the status of contract workers to public employees regarding their eligibility to receive one-time work grants.
According to the deal, any time a deal signed between the Histadrut and the state establishes that a one-time work grant will be given to public workers, contract workers working in maintenance and security will also benefit from the grant.
