The Environmental Protection Ministry has issued a warning about significant concentrations of dust that is expected to hit southern Israel tomorrow (Monday). The pollution is expected to begin in the morning and to be concentrated in Ashkelon and further south.
The high air pollution is related to the strong southwestern winds that brings dust from Egypt and Sinai.
The Ministry is advising the sensitive members of the population, including those with heart or lung issues, the elderly, children and pregnant women to avoid strenuous outdoor physical activity.
