The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says that ISIS executed a Syrian poet and his son in the eastern city of Dir a-Zur. The poet, 56-year-old Muhammad Bashir al-Ani, was very well known for his opposition to Bashar al-Assad's regime.
Syrian social media sites are currently publishing eulogies for the pair, Kol Israel reports.
