Initial investigations of the shooting at Jerusalem’s Ramot Junction indicate that passengers on an Egged public transportation bus on Golda Meir Boulevard noticed two suspects with weapons and heard gunfire. A civilian who noticed the event stopped his car, ran towards the bus and shot one bullet at two suspects, who then fled.

The bus was not hit and no one was hurt.

The suspicious vehicle was later found on Hatzanchanim Street, near Damascus Gate. Suspects within the car began to shoot at nearby cars. Police officers shot and neutralized two terrorists inside the car. Two makeshift weapons were found inside the vehicle.
