Customs officials at the Allenby Bridge crossing near Jericho have prevented a Jordanian diplomat from smuggling a large quantity of valuables into Israel.
The officials found dozens of smartphones in the diplomat's car. As they searched further, they uncovered an additional 300 devices and dozens of kilograms of gold and jewelry.
