Romanian President Klaus Werner Iohannis and his wife, Carmen Iohannis, are scheduled to land in Israel today (Sunday). They will remain in the country until Friday.
During the visit, President Iohannis will meet with President Reuven Rivlin, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein (Likud), Opposition leader Itzhak Herzog (Zionist Union), Technology Minister Ophir Akunis (Likud), and Greek Orthodox Patriarch Theofilos III.
He will also visit the Knesset, the Kotel, Yad Vashem, Mount Herzl, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Romanian Orthodox Church in Jerusalem, Masada, the Dead Sea and Ramallah.
