Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem, Rabbi Shlomo Amar, warned against violence with respect to the controversy surrounding the allocation of another Kotel (Western Wall) plaza for members of the Reform and Conservative movements.
Rabbi Amar said that raising a hand, especially at the Western Wall, is a desecration of the holy and a very big sin.
