MK Oded Forer (Yisrael Beytenu) on Friday afternoon attacked the decision of Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon to release half a billion shekels as a gesturre to the Palestinian Authority.
"It seems that the news headlines on the rise in housing prices caused the finance minister and the prime minister to lose their minds and led them to produce a headline on the backs of the citizens of Israel," said Forer.
"The transfer of half a billion shekels to Abbas, as initiated by Kahlon, without conditioning them on his stopping the funding of terrorists who sit in prisons, and providing rewards to terrorists in the form of tax relief for Palestinian workers, convey one clear message - the Israeli government closes its eyes in the face of the terrorism and incitement by the Palestinian Authority and makes it worthwhile for them."
"Kahlon, who claims there is no money for assistance to Israeli businesses, entrepreneurs and farmers, lowers taxes for Palestinians," charged Forer.
