Republican Senator Mitch McConnell announced that the Senate will not approve any candidate for the Supreme Court suggested by President Barack Obama, until after the Presidential elections in November.
“The President has the right to recommend candidates, just as the Senate has the right to give or prevent his consent,” McConnell said.
