The Israeli man critically wounded in an attack in Gush Etzion was taken to Shaarei Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem for medical treatment.
The victim may have suffered a gunshot wound intended for the terrorist, who was trying to commit a stabbing attack at the junction.
Magen David Adom volunteer paramedics transported the victim to the hospital, while attempting to revive him.
