Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan (Likuid) has denied that the head of the IDF's intelligence branch, General Herzi Halevi, warned that Cabinet that the wave of terror would expand if there is no advancement in the political process.
"I sat in many meetings where he participated. I never heard him say such a thing," Erdan told Razi Barkai. "If such a statement was made in a briefing to army reporters, I think that it is an outrageous remark because we remember the days of the political process, in which the terror attacks were much worse."
