Immigration Minister Ze'ev Elkin (Likud) has submitted a complaint to Second Authority for Television and Radio in protest against yesterday's (Thursday) broadcast of the comedy show Eretz Nehederet.

The episode dealt with the recent Highway 1 crash in which six people were killed.

"While the families are still sitting shiva on their loved ones who were killed in this tragic accident, it's unconscionable to use this difficult event for laughs and ridicule," Elkin wrote. "Even satirical programs must have red lines of good taste and respect for the dead."
