The German government expects to receive about half a million refugees this year, according to government officials in the Rheinische Post.
According to the report, Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière told the head of the Office for Migration and Refugees and the Ministry of Labor to prepare for a new wave of asylum seekers in 2016.
