Supreme Court judges recommended on Monday to the state that hunger striking Palestinian Arab inmate, Mohammed al-Qiq, be transferred from Afula’s Haemek Hospital to a hospital in eastern Jerusalem.
The recommendation was made as a result of demands made by al-Qiq’s attorney, as his client continues to refuse nourishment in protest against his administrative detention.
