The International Committee of the Red Cross has announced that its office in Gaza is again open and functioning, after destructive protests forced its closure yesterday (Sunday).
A spokesperson says that the organization held "discussions" with Hamas officials, though she did not elaborate on what the two sides talked about.
Protesters have gathered outside of the building every day for the past few weeks to express their support for a hunger striking Palestinian being held in an Israeli prison.
