At least 33 refugees drowned off of the coast of Turkey, while attempting to reach Greece.
The deaths occurred when two separate boats sank; one near the Greek island of Lesbos that left 22 dead and one near the Turkish city of Dikili that left 11 dead.
Today's (Monday) incidents put the number of migrants who died while trying to reach Europe at about 400 since the beginning of 2016.
