Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has called on the international community to demand the Palestinian Authority cease its incitement against Israel, claiming that it encourages more terror attacks.
"The terrorist who carried out the shooting attack today in which three of our soldiers were wounded near Beit El is a member of the Palestinian police. He receives his salary from the Palestinian Authority, which stands behind the incitement driving the terror against Israel," said Netanyahu.
He continued: "Abu Mazen [another name for Mahmoud Abbas] has not denounced this attack which was carried out by one of his people. While Israel is fighting terror, the international community should stop acting hypocritically and demand that the Palestinian Authority stop inciting and fanning the terror."
