Reserve General Eitan Dangot, the former Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, says that today's (Sunday) terror attack near Beit El is an escalation in the ongoing wave of terror.
"The incident is an escalation and Abu Mazen [Mahmoud Abbas], who until now has been in a double circle of condemnation and involvement, stated last week in a meeting with Israeli journalists that he is interested in sitting down and talking. I think that his response and the response of the Palestinian Authority is the most interesting part of the incident," Dangot told Army Radio.
