Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas applauded the French initiative to hold an international conference in order to resume talks between Israel and the PA.
Abbas, currently taking part in the African Union conference in Ethiopia, said that “The status quo cannot continue,” added that if he returns to the negotiating table, it will be in order to fully and finally resolve the conflict.
