The head of the committee responsible for the UN nuclear test ban treaty says that Israel and Iran may soon ratify the treaty and give their assurance that they will never test nuclear weapons.
Lassina Zerbo says that the two are "the closest" of the eight countries that have not yet signed, adding that their joining would "certainly" bring Egypt on board and lead the way to safer Middle East.
