The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), General Yoav Mordechai, says that Hamas is taking advantage of reduced restrictions for terror purposes. COGAT has been trying to make it easier for Palestinians in Gaza to enter Israel, including Judea and Samaria.
"We have no desire to make things difficult for the residents, but Hamas is taking advantage of the situation and the residents will pay a heavy price. The situation requires us to rethink our policies," said Mordechai.
