Compulsory car insurance rates will decrease as of March

The reduction compulsory car insurance prices for private cars will be implemented on March 1st.

Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Supervisor of Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Dorit Salinger, declared last November that compulsory car insurance rates for private cars would be reduced. As a first step in the reform’s implementation, one will be able to purchase insurance policies at the newly reduced rates as of February 1st, 2016.
