Iran announced that it will run a broad naval exercise near the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the announcement, the exercise will begin on Wednesday. This will be the first Iranian exercise in the area since the incident during which 10 US sailors were swept into Iranian territorial waters and were arrested for several hours.
