MK Yoel Hasson (Zionist Union) on Friday sent a strongly worded message to Yesh Atid chairman MK Yair Lapid.
"Yair Lapid's continues to run for the Knesset as an individual, a fact that will crown Binyamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister for the fifth time. Yair, let's talk and put the cards on the table. Just three years ago you ran for the Knesset for the first time. Immediately afterward you were the one who recommended Netanyahu for Prime Minister," said Hasson.
"Two years later, after not having received the number of seats you wanted, you decided again not to be a team player and did not even recommend a candidate, because if not you - no one else will be Prime Minister. That may be good for the ego, but it's very bad for the state. It should not happen again, you must not sink the entire ship with you," he added.
"Tne nationalist camp is becoming united, Netanyahu has already begun to weave a behind-the-scenes partnership with Bennett, Uri Ariel and the haredim to form a wall to wall right-wing party. Only in the center-left there is a one-man party, one man who insists on running alone to implement the promise written on the teleprompter by PR professionals. Yair, let's talk," he concluded.
