Both official Syrian news and members of the opposition say that about 500 families have returned to their homes in Damascus after they fled the fighting.
The families were from the southwestern Qadam neighborhood, where a truce between the two sides was first implemented a year and a half ago.
The government provided 25 buses to bring the families home.
