Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein has announced his decision to close the case against former IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi. He was suspected of obstructing justice with regards to the choice of his successor, as part of the "Harpaz Affair."
Weinstein says that there is not enough evidence to put Ashkenazi on trial.
Boaz Harpaz will be the only defendant in the final case, and he will be charged with falsifying a document.
