In light of the “Mega” grocery chain’s current crisis, Finance Minister Moshe Kalon met on Tuesday evening with the head of his office, Histadrut labor federation head Avi Nissenkorn and the chairman of Mega’s workers union.
Kahlon expressed his concern regarding the possibility that Mega will be sold for parts. Nissenkorn added that “We must save Mega and its thousands of employees, out of social responsibility. I will demand that the trustees sell the company as a single unit.”
