The supermarket chain Mega has announced that it will repay its debts to suppliers today (Friday), as it is required. The total cost is more than 50 million shekels ($12.7 million US).
At the same time, Mega will begin paying for its purchases from the suppliers in cash.
The chain's board of trustees say that they will meet again on Sunday in order to discuss the crisis.
