Mexico’s top prosecutor announced that she will begin the process of extraditing drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman to the US.
Prior US requests for El Chapo to be extradited were denied. El Chapo was apprehended on Friday after escaping a Mexican prison, six months ago.
