A significant majority of Israelis believe that the country's public officials are corrupt. The poll was commissioned by Channel 2.
Seventy-two percent of responders said that Israel is a corrupt country. Out of that group, almost a quarter said that the country is very corrupt. The survey also found that 58 percent believe judges in Israeli courts are influenced by public opinion and the media while deciding their rulings.
