The family of the Beit Shemesh baby who died from a severe head injury after most likely being mishandled, has requested that an autopsy not be performed on the infant’s body.
The police and local prosecutors are demanding an autopsy in order to rule out abuse or foul play. The family is opposing for religious reasons. A Jerusalem court is currently debating the matter.
