The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) says that Israel is now following its guidelines on drug use in sports. An official statement says that Israel "drafted and adopted anti-doping rules" that fit the regulating body's requirements.

In November, WADA declared that Israel and five other countries - Andorra, Argentina, Bolivia, Russia and Ukraine - were not complying with its anti-doping code.

It has also warned Belgium, Brazil, France, Greece, Mexico and Spain to fix their shortcomings by March 18 or they will also be considered non-compliant.
