MK Amir Ohana (Likud) announced that he opposes the “Sabbath Law.”
“I do not support the Sabbath Law and will act to convince my colleagues (of this opinion) as well. It is an anti-liberal law, which seeks to deepen religious coercion, essentially hurting the State and hurting religion,” the MK posted on Facebook. “The Sabbath, like every other lovely thing brought forth by religion, must be kept b choice; not by coercion.”
