Jewish-American Congressman Steve Israel, who represents a New York State district on behalf of the Democratic Party, announced on Tuesday night that h is resigning from Congress.
Israel announced that he will resign at the end of the year, “because the time has come to pass on the torch.” Israel is known for his support of Israel and his actions against anti-Semitic acts.
