An Indian consulate in northern Afghanistan came under attack today (Sunday), Reuters reports. There is no information on any casualties or damage.
A spokesperson for the provincial governor says that the attackers have tried to break into the consulate, but have not yet succeeded. "Right now our security forces are fighting them," he explained.
No group has taken responsibility for the attack.
The incident is taking place in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif.
