The government unanimously approved of the appointment of Professor Avi Simhon to the head of the National Economic Council. Simhon will also become the Prime Minister’s economic advisor.
“He is committed to all citizens of Israel and to the State of Israel’s economy,” Netanyahu said in response to Simhon’s appointment.
