Attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir, who represents one of the suspects in the Duma arson, dismissed on Sunday evening a visit by Deputy Attorney General Raz Nizri to the Israel Security Agency’s facilities, where he met the detainees amid allegations of torture.
“Too little, too late,” said Ben-Gvir, adding, “I would expect Mr. Nizri to visit the facilities of the ISA as soon as allegations of torture were made public. The impression is that Nizri visited only to draw a checkmark and argue that he examined allegations, but anyone who wishes to ensure human rights should have done that it in real time.”
