Chairman of the High Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel, former MK Mohammed Barekeh spoke on Tuesday at an Education Commission meeting on “The significant changes in the instruction of civics.”
Barekeh said that if changes that are not in line with the committee’s spirit enter into the new textbook about to be printed, the High Follow-Up Committee, in conjunction with Arab academics and teachers, will publish an alternate textbook intended for the Arab sector.
