A suicide bombing against a US-Afghan security patrol in Afghanistan killed at least five soldiers, a district governor told Reuters. The governor added that six more were wounded.
The attack occurred near Bagram Air Base in eastern Afghanistan.
The Taliban took responsibility for the attack over Twitter. The tweet claimed that they had killed 19 soldiers and wounded an unspecified number.
