David's Sling, the IDF's latest anti-missile system, has passed its final tests. The Ministry of Defense says that it will be ready for deployment next year.

Operationally, David Sling fills covers the difference between Iron Dome and Arrow by targeting rockets with ranges between 100 and 200 kilometers, as well as low-flying cruise missiles and aircraft.

The project has been a joint effort between Israel's Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and the US's Raytheon Corporation.
