Russian President Vladimir Putin says that his country will continue developing nuclear weapons, though it does not intend to use them.
"Russia as a leading nuclear country will be improving this weapon as a containment factor; the nuclear triad is the basis of our nuclear security polices," President Putin said in a documentary that aired on official state television.
