A journalist from the Al-Manar news agency in Damascus reported that “The area surrounding the elimination has been attacked a lot recently by rebel forces that cooperate with Israel.”
The journalist claimed that the Syrian rebels supplied Israel with information that helped the IDF locate Kuntar.
